A combination of elm, teak, ash and oak was found, and has been replaced with hardwoods if they could not be re-used. The original ?1940/1950s teak flooring thankfully seemed to be resistant to worm.
Iron brackets were rudimentary and have been de-rusted and re-used, with their original bolts if possible.
These panels sit either side of the carden joint/prop shaft underneath the seat area, and attach to front and rear timber subframe cross members:
These steel panels cover the edges of the frame viewable through the door apertures. Both show signs of having been re-used (bent slightly at based in an attempt to fit in their 1960s re-fitting).
