The utility body was likely originally fitted on an earlier 1928-30 body with the mid-height radiator, which is approximately two inches shorter. For the later re-fitting, a taller radiator equates to a two inch shorter windscreen which created the poor fit downward from the windscreen top attachment point for the roof structure – wheelarches and sills became two inches too low.Survey

There were a few remains of wooden door timbers which had never been fitted on this car.

The rear tailgate

had two opening windows above it, and the side apertures are rebated for side windows of which no remains were present.

The front header rail has been restored to retain, but reveals that an insert retained the undercloth edge, allowing a smooth transition of the outer canvas to the secured/tacked edge.
