Engine
The engine present may be linked to the original, late van body, which has disappeared over the lifetime of the car. It was partially dismantled to reveal witness marks to its rebuilding in 1953 and presumed little use since. The oil pipe feed to the centre bearing was replaced as badly repaired, oil pump overhauled, new pressure ballbearing/ spring, general cleaning and replacing the sump gasket with a silicone one.
